In September 1996, Dan Plante and Karl Celtnieks founded Capitol Drywall, Inc. Since then, Capitol Drywall has maintained the best reputation in the business for consistently delivering high quality.

Capitol Drywall's highly trained employees are dedicated, experienced and committed to safety. Our office staff supports our employees in the field, by helping to provide quality management in every detail. To ensure these missions are effectively achieved, Capitol Drywall follows a partnership approach on every assignment it undertakes.

Here's a brief company history:

September 1996 Dan Plante and Karl Celtnieks found Capitol Drywall, Inc.

The company hires its first two full time employees, Juan Perez and German Climaco, who are still employed by Capitol Drywall today.
1997 Capitol Drywall generates more than 1.4 million dollars in revenue by specializing in tenant renovation.
1999 Dan and Karl establish Selective Demolition and Hauling, LLC, which offers a diverse range of interior demolition services.
2001 Capitol Drywall expands in base building contracting.
2002 Capital Select Properties, LLC, Dan and Karl's third company, finishes work on the new 21,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland, housing Capitol Drywall, Selective Demolition and Capital Select Properties.
2003 Dan and Karl found the Capitol Children's Foundation to help raise money for local children's charities. Other charities Dan and Karl have been involved with include: Project Access, Habitat for Humanity, Therapeutic Recreation and Riding Center, Potomac Ridge Behavior Health Foundation, Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children (CSSAC), Children's Hospital, and Muscular Dystrophy Association.
2005 Dan and Karl enter into the floor leveling industry by launching Monument Construction Services. By becoming the only "Certified" COMBIMIX LOW PREP products (www.monument-construction.com) installer in the Washington Metropolitan area, Monument and COMBIMIX will take the floor leveling industry to the next level.
